Hogle Zoo

We decided to go to the Hogle Zoo. Noah has only been once before and he was really little, and K is old enough now to enjoy it, so away we went! I don't think I need to say much more about it, the pictures pretty well speak for themselves.

Parents house Updated - again

Stage one of the parents house is officially done, and here's some of the pics. They're now working on phase two, meaning the master bedroom the upstairs bathroom, mom's office, and the hallway upstairs.

The completed kitchen

More kitchen (can you believe that stove?)

...and even more kitchen. It just keeps going.

The new laundry room. This is what used to be the 'hobby room'

Special K

It's time for a Kaiden brag. This kid is seriously a hilarious little monster of a boy. He's constantly a mess, growling, laughing, and just a funny funny kid. We love him. He's an over-achiever too. He started crawling at 6 months, and now at 10 months he's walking. Isn't he just adorable?!

Salt Lake & Discovery Gateway

Last Thursday the boys and I went for a little adventure to Salt Lake to visit Z, and do some fun stuff. On our way up there we needed to stall for a little bit, so we drove over to the airport to see some planes. Noah thought that it was really cool, and asks me all the time now to go back to the airport. K slept through the whole thing, which was perfect cuz it was his only chance for a morning nap, and we had no idea what time we'd actually get home for his afternoon nap.

Around 11 we got to Z's building, did a quick little tour, then headed to The Robin's Nest for some lunch. It was pretty much fantastic, and I found myself craving it for the next couple of days. The people were incredibly friendly and helpful in a place that looked like it would not be very child friendly. So kudo's to you guys.

After lunch it was time for a quick trip over to Gateway via trax. Noah's been on the trains once before, and I think each time gets to ride on them, it's the highlight of his little life. Seriously people, the kid likes his trains.
None of us had ever been to Discovery Gateway before, an we all LOVED it. All sorts of things to keep all 4 of us entertained. We easily could have spent the entire day there, and would happily go back again and again. I was thoroughly impressed with their selection of stuff to entertain people of all ages. Z and Noah had tons of fun in the Studio area building drain pipes and towers, K had a ton of fun playing with all of the stuff in the duck pond, and I was thoroughly happy to sit and watch all of my boys playing, though I confess I had a lot of fun playing in the water area.
