Teething Marathon

2 weeks and 4 teeth. 2 on top, 2 on bottom. I'm glad we're done with that. Overall though, he does pretty good with teething.

This is happiness

It's days like today that I'm alright with the fact that I don't have much of an actual social life. Just barely I was dancing with Zander and Noah in the kitchen to a great song, eating frozen pizza's (cooked obviously) for lunch, and I realized just how happy I am right now in my life.

Spring Fever

It's a relatively nice day outside, parts of the grass are shwoing through, and I'm ready for spring now darn it! I haven't really been outside in a long time cuz let's face it, it's winter and it's been freaking cold latley, which isn't a conducive environment to long walks with a baby. So today it seemed pretty nice, so Noah and I ventured to go get the mail. The mail boxes are like 100 yards away or so, and it was really nice to be out, even if it was under 5 minutes. So I've officially decided that I'm ready for spring now. I want to be able to go sit out on my law on a blanket and play with my little boy instead of being in the house all day long. Granted I still get a fair amount of sun, we have a lot of windows, and I read my book on the stairs in the sun most days, but it's not the same as sitting out in real sunlight. Spring, please come back now.

A Few Things

My husband is absolutely wonderful, and is providing me with a fully pampered weekend. I've been craving Oreo's for a while, the chocolate cream double stuffed ones, and he bought them for me. I don't think I've had to cook all weekend. We went to a movie and out to dinner. We were going to buy me my new shoes but ran out of time, and I'm getting a massage. Zander, you're awesome, and I love you. Thank you for appreciating and loving me.

At dinner the other night, I gave Noah my slice of lime when I was done with it. I was expecting the classic baby cringing face over the flavor, but he actually really liked it! He liked it so much that he whined at me when I took it away from him so we could get into the car. He's so cute. Oh, and waitresses, and other random people that I don't know....I appreciate that you think my baby is adorable and you want to oogle over him, but keep your hands off of him!!! Three different waitresses stopped to comment on how cute he was and to talk with him, and the first two were great. They just smiled and at him. The third one I just about slapped her hand. She kept grabbing his hand and rubbing his head and whatnot. I don't know her, I don't know where her hands have been, and it kind of really bothered me. I suppose it was my right to ask her to not touch him, but I didn't want to be rude. Oh well. Probably not really a big deal right? Servers have to wash their hands all the time. Oh, and my little Noah just did fabulously yesterday. We were out of the house literally ALL day. From 9:30am - 7:30pm. He had two naps in the car, one at the grandparent's house, and then fell asleep on our way home. And I think we missed feeding somewhere in there as well. And he still slept good last night, and was just a very well behaved little boy yesterday.

The movie "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" is pretty funny, but mostly really stupid. We saw it at matinee prices, and I'm glad we didn't have to pay more for it. I'd have been ok with just paying a dollar for it. Overall, I wouldn't waste your time on it unless you want some really stupid humor.
