El Pollo Loco

Have I mentioned lately how much I really like this place? If you've never heard of it, it's in American Fork by Lowe's and Costco. They have really good chicken, rice, beans, burrito's etc. I've never had something there that I wouldn't be willing to order again. Their tacquito's are by far the best that I have ever had. I've never had a flan that I like before, but their is AMAZING. Z says it's the best that he's ever had honestly. So if you're looking for a few fast food joint to check out, go check out EPL. Yummy stuff.

Panda

We saw this movie probably a year ago and loved it, but I forgot how much i LOVED it. We got it a week or so ago and watched it last night, much to the delight of all three of us. My only worry is that Noah really likes it, so he'll probably want to watch it lots, and I'll get sick of it. Oh well. Ska-doooosh.

The last few weeks

Lost started again
I got hooked into this season of Bachelor
Z has been in school and working
We've still made all our date nights
We went to Marley's Cafe (yummy)
Spent last night with Wardle's
Played Dominion, and want to play it more
Did touch-up painting on the main floor of the house
Bought Noah a booster seat (instead of his highchair)
Redecorated 2 or 3 bathrooms (pictures to come later)

I made another blog. feel free to check it out. there's not much on there right now since we have new computers and I don't have everything set up yet, but gimme a week or so, and i'll be doing almost daily posts about the crazy life of Noah.

Redemption

A while ago I posted about a little allergic reaction mishap that Noah was having, and the companies response to it. The other day I got a letter in the mail from them with coupons worth $21 off of all Kimberly-Clark products. This includes Huggies, pull-ups, Depends, Kleenex, Cottonelle, etc. So I guess it was a good thing after all. We need more toilet paper, and now I can get it essentially for free.

In my search through the fridge for lunch, nothing sounded good. So I grabbed an apple. It's really really good.

Customer Service?

We recently bought a new box of diapers for Noah. Same brand that we've always bought for him. A day or two after we started using them he broke out in a rash all over his poor little butt, exactly where the diaper touches him. Evidently he's allergic to them now. So I emailed the company to see if they had changed any of the chemicals they use or anything like that. Here is their response:

We are sorry to learn that your son experienced a rash at the time you were using our product. Each component in XXXXX diapers was evaluated to ensure that the material would not produce irritation or signs of allergic response. Extensive studies also have been performed on the product to ensure the overall safety and performance of XXXXX diapers. Although these studies have shown that it would be unusual for the cause of the rash to be traced solely to XXXXX diapers, we certainly regret that this happened.

With the hope that you will continue to use Kimberly-Clark products, we are sending you some cost-saving coupons through the mail. Thanks again for contacting us and for giving us an opportunity to respond. We value you as our customer.

Can anyone explain to me why I want coupons for a product that my child is allergic to?
