International Talk Like a Pirate Day is every year on September 19th. Last year I celebrated as much as possible while working at a conservative company. I talked like a pirate to all those whom I thought would appreciate the humor of the day, and I think that I wore boots as well. I would have worn my pirate looking corset as well, but as previously noted, it was a very conservative company, and I didn't want to loose my job. This years celebrations aren't as much fun, seeing as I spend my days with a 3 month old, but he is dressed for the occasion!
