Dinosaurs...... er trains

Since Thanksgiving Point is running their yearly $2 Tuesday campaign right now, we thought it would be fun to take the boys to the dinosaur museum up there. All morning we were talking about it as we got a bag packed, shoes on, and loaded into the car. We got up there and quickly realized we weren't the only ones with this brilliant idea. Evidently EVERYONE in the valley wanted to go today too. The line went halfway around the building, and it's not a small building either. So rather than wait in Disneyland length lines to see something we can go to pretty much whenever we want, we decided to bail on our plans.I remembered that there was a little train station something on state street in Lehi, and decided we should go see what it actually is. I've gone past it a bunch of times and always been curious. Turns out that it isn't much. There's a small museum on railroads, which was closed, and a few train cars on the tracks behind the building. The building itself was built in the 1800's and is now under the guardianship of the Lehi historical foundation.

It wasn't much, but Noah, who is obsessed with trains right now, thought it was cool to be able to touch the train cars.
